When human beings experience trauma or severe life stressors, it is not uncommon for their lives to unravel. My great passion is bringing healing to people who have been through a traumatic/stressful experience. I help my clients to find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships so they can know themselves as peaceful, complete, whole, and safe.
I know that no single approach is the right one for every individual, and so I follow a holistic approach.
I work with a broad range of issues including relationships, intimacy, anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, low self-esteem, depression, and anger.
My educational background includes a Graduate certificate in Mental Health and Addictions Counselling and a B.A. in Sociology and Criminology from the University of Toronto, Canada. I am also a certified anxiety treatment professional CATP.
Besides English, I am fluent in Arabic.
"Knowledge of the self is the mother of all knowledge. So it is incumbent on me to know my self, to know it completely, to know its minutiae, its characteristics, its subtleties, and its very atoms."
- Khalil Gibran
